X-Men: Apocalypse Concept Art Released

Here at Critics associated, we pride ourselves on bringing you the latest action packed trailers, and red hot film news straight from Hollywood. Today is an off day though. All we can give you is a picture of a bloke with a DIY haircut in a snazzy wetsuit.

As the latest X-Men movie draws ever closer to production, exclusive images (images that can be seen by anyone typing “x men angel images” into Google) have been released of Angel, the latest character to join the ever increasing horde of superhero X-Men.

Originally seen in X Men: The Last Stand, Angel was played by Ben Foster, but this time round, the not so angelic Angel is being played by ex-EastEnders star Bryan Singer. The concept art images give hints that Angel may have a very dark side, as his wings can clearly be seen to be made of daggers. Either that or he has a weekend side job as a circus knife thrower.

Returning to X-Men: Apocalypse will be old favourites Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence). Joining them with names that sound like an amateur wrestling team will be Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee).

X-Men: Apocalypse will be hitting cinemas in the UK on May the 27th 2016, which will give just enough time for seventeen other X-Men films to be released.
