Watch Now: Doodlebug (Christopher Nolan)

You may know him from The Dark Knight, Memento or Inception, but Christopher Nolan’s first film back in 1997 was Doodlebug. In this surreal short film, a man attempts to squash a miniature version of himself with a shoe. Enjoy.

Also available online is Nolan’s second film (technically his first feature-length film), Following. It’s in 8 parts and you have to tolerate Spanish subtitles, but otherwise it’s an interesting look into the mind of one of the most noted directors working today.
