Trailer For Into The Storm Released

Actor Bill Paxton has laughed in the face of tornadoes and cyclones, since starring in the 1996 hit Twister. The new tornado and high winds movie Into The Storm would well and truly wipe the smug smile of his fat face, so it’s a good job he’s not in it.

As you can see from the trailer, director Steve Quale has well and truly captured what a cruel beast mother nature can be, making the ferociously windy scenes in Twister look like a light summer breeze. No one in the small Oklahoma town of Silverton  is safe when it is struck by an onslaught of deadly hurricanes, cyclones, whirlwinds, twisters, typhoons and any other words that can be used to describe frighteningly powerful winds. Richard Armitage (The Hobbit, Strike Back) leads the cast as Gary Morris, a school Principal who must find his missing son, protect his sharp haircut, and everyone he possibly can from the mayhem and destruction around him. The winds are so fierce, even jumbo jets don’t escape being tossed into the air like small toys. On a plus side, at least the residents of Silverton will be able to get their washing dried, so every silver  cloud…. or in this case, every minging black cloud…

Also starring Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Prison Break) and Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights), Into The Storm will hit our screens on August the 22nd.
