New This Week on Netflix (22nd of September)

What a week it’s been here in the UK. Scotland showed the world how a country can come together to vote, with fantastic, record breaking numbers attending polling stations all over Scotland. Will Smith had already hedged his bets by bagsying the lead part in Independence Day 2: Scotland Goes Solo before it was announced that the majority of Scottish people want to remain part of Great Britain. And great is certainly is once again. Rumours were abound that if Scotland pulled out of Great Britain, they would no longer be entitled to the UK version of Netflix, the internet’s premium movie and TV streaming service. They would instead have got their own special Scottish version, containing box sets of Rab C Nesbitt, endless repeats of Braveheart and a new 24 hour a day Lorraine Kelly chat show.

Well rejoice Great Britain, for Netflix is also great. This week there are lots of newly added films to keep everyone happy, all with posters containing actors looking just off camera in a concerned fashion. With the likes of Skyfall and Dom Hemingway available to view, you’ll need to record the new series of Downton Abbey to give you time to watch everything. There is also the opportunity to re-live the drivel that a generation of kids were forced to watch, with Season One of The Teletubbies available.
