First Footage of New James Bond Film Emerges

It is a beautiful day Mr Bond! Actually, it’s not. It’s cold, grey and miserable. But let your day be hugely brightened up with the news that footage has emerged on line of the new James Bond film, Spectre.

Although it’s not technically footage (more of a behind the scenes look), you do get to see Daniel Craig looking very dapper in his super spy snow outfit, and in sunglasses clearly chosen by his mum.

The footage is filmed in the breathtaking Austrian mountains in the municipality of Solden, and is introduced by Lea Seydoux, who plays Madeleine Swann. Associate Producer Gregg Wilson gives a few clues at to what can be seen going on in the behind the scenes clip. ” This is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak.”

Production Designer Dennis Gassner added “The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall, it’s going to be Spectre, and so far it’s a great start. I think that we are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world.”

Starring Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Monica Belluci, the 24th James Bond film is due for release in the UK on October the 23rd next year.
