Crowdfunding Successes: Zero Charisma

After achieving $12,790 of its $30,000 goal on IndieGoGo earlier this year, Zero Charisma premiered at the SXSW film festival and won the audience award.

It was recently picked up at Comic-con by Nerdist Industries and Tribeca Film and will receive a theatrical release (in the US) on October 11th.

The ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ inspired dramedy sees metal-loving gamer-geek Scott Weidemeyer struggle with popularity among his friends when new ‘cool geek’/neo-nerd (hipster) Miles joins his gaming club.

If you’re a hardcore gamer you’ll understand the in-jokes, but if like me you’re new to all of this, the film is still very funny.
